The BattleGrounds Server Rules
Not following these rules will result in, at the very least, a warning for the 1st offense, a temporary ban for the 2nd offense, and repeat offenses will result in a permanent ban from these forums and the community servers. Also, being warned is a luxury, not a right. Ignorance to the rules is not an excuse. We reserve the right to deny anyone access to our gameservers and/or website for any reason at any time. These rules apply to all of our game servers.
1. Respect Our Administrators And Moderators.
You will respect the administrators and moderators that keep this community running. Their instructions/requests will be adhered to. They all donate their free time to keep things running, and most of them also donate their hard earned cash so you have a place to play. They deserve your respect.
2. No Cheating.
This includes aimbots/autofire/wallhacks/radar cheats/or advantageous skins.
3. No Advertising Or Recruiting.
Do not advertise your website/gameserver/clan/business/et cetera on our gameservers.
4. No Flaming.
Insulting other users for any reason will not be tolerated.
5. No Racist/Sexist Comments.
I hope I don't have to explain this rule.
6. No Abusing Your Rates/Ping Masking.
Do not abuse your rates to make it harder for your opponents to hit you or to hide your actual ping.
7. Do Your Best To Keep The Teams Even In Both Skill And Number Of Players. Complete Objectives.
Our servers are here to have fun, not rack up the highest score. If things are unbalanced, do your best to balance them.
8. No Gross/Pornographic/Explicit Sprays.
Do not use sprays that imitate players or objects in-game. Also, do not use explicit or generally offensive sprays.
9. Do Not Spam Chat/Mic.
Talking on the server is fine, but don't be obnoxious/spam/scream.
10. Do Not Use Offensive/Obscene Nicknames.
Swearing in your nickname, generally offensive comments or rude remarks are not allowed. It's not cute, it's annoying, and you will be banned. Also, invisible names/having no name at all in game is not allowed. Use a name, it's not that hard. Avoiding ASCII letters is a generally good idea as well, since we ban some of those due to exploits in the game engine. Using ASCII instead of normal letters does not make you cool. Honestly. You've been warned.
11. Keep swearing to a minimum.
A lot of people sometimes slip swear words out in the midst of battle, including me but rarely do I.However there is a difference from slipping one or two swear words while you play and a swear word in every sentence you use while playing.There is no need for swearing in everything you say or write. And I would hope that everyone knows that. And if you don't know that well then this is not the right community for you. Plain and simple. It is up to the admins to determine if the swearing is excessive or not. If they call it excessive and ask you to stop then you better stop or you will be removed from the server.
