What is the BattleGrounds?
The BattleGrounds is a Day of Defeat Source, Team Fortress 2, Bad Company 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 Community/Clan created in September 2008. The Batttlegrounds clan is not a competitive clan nor will it ever be. The main purpose of the BattleGrounds was to provide a place where gamers could play seriously but yet fun and not have to deal with stupid rules or abusive admins. We hope to provide every player a fun but serious gaming environment.After the server launched, it became an instant hit and we a lot of regulars so we decided to start a clan named after the Battlegrounds and that's where we are today.
How do I Join the BattleGrounds?
Here at The BattleGrounds we are always accepting new members to join us. There a couple rules and guidelines to follow when joining BG. First of all we accept members by their maturity level. We would rather have a very mature player than a very skilled and immature player. Members must have a mic and ventrilo. We require that our members be on teamspeak while they play. It helps us to get to know you better and the other clan mates as well. Also members must stay active on the forums and on the servers. If you agree to the above then please continue below.
1. Please go to www.thebattlegrounds.us/forums and register there.
2. After you register please go to the recruiting office and read the sticky "Application".
3. Fill out all the information in a separate post titled "Your Name - Application."
4. Once you enter your application please feel free to join our ventrilo server
(VOICE-IL1.BRANZONE.COM:3843) to get to know us better.
5. Your application will be reviewed by an Admin shortly. Once your application is in review you need to stay active as much as possible. This includes Ventrilo, the servers , and our forums. Once the admin has his decision he will post on your app his decision. This process usually takes 1 to 3 weeks.
How can I speed up the application process so that I can get accepted faster?
Here at the battlegrounds we recruit the best of the best. We are one big family here. We only recruit those who we know are mature and will fit into the clan. We do not care if you are the worst player in the world or you are the best. Its all about who you are as a person. In order to find out what type of person you are we need to get to know you. So in order to help us do that please go on our ventrilo server and also stay active on the servers and post on the forums. If you are the shy type..well.. then its gonna take a longer time for you. But if you follow our advice then you will be accepted in no time. (If you need help with ventrilo then Read Below).

How do I get admin?
Right now we only allow members to get admin. In order for a member to get admin they have to prove to us that they are responsible enough to have it. We expect our members to be willing to help, mature , and respectful towards others. It doesn't hurt to donate money to support the clan either. Doing this will help your chances 99.9% of the time.
How do I request/protest a ban?
The BattleGrounds uses SourceBans program to monitor and control all of the bans made on our servers. If you would like to request that a player be banned, then please click here. If you have been banned from our servers and would like to protest it, then please click here.
